Account and purchases
Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google, Clerk, our sign-in provider, receives your Google account’s name, email address and profile picture, and keeps records of your sign-in sessions. We keep your player name and saved progress, including owned items, with your account ID so they sync across your devices. Purchases are processed by Google Play.
Deleting your account
Delete your account in the app (Profile, Manage account, Delete account), on our account deletion page, or by emailing us from the address you signed in with. This deletes your account and its saved progress. Deleted records may remain in backups until those backups are replaced.
Error reports
With Automatic diagnostics on, which is the default, the app sends error reports to Sentry. They include error details and app, device and operating system information. Turning Automatic diagnostics off in Settings stops new reports.
Advertising
Google AdMob provides the app’s ads, and we request non-personalized ads for everyone. To serve and measure ads and prevent fraud, Google collects information such as IP addresses, approximate location and device identifiers, including the advertising ID, under its own policies. Ad privacy choices appear in Settings where required.
Service and security
The Secret Search service runs on Nooikko-operated infrastructure in the United States. Our network provider, Clerk and our servers receive your IP address to deliver requests and prevent abuse, and may keep it in security and error logs. Google verifies that requests come from the genuine app. The app connects to our service over HTTPS, and we restrict access to our records. We may disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security incidents or legal claims.
